Sumikat ang araw

Natuyo ang sanga

Maliliit na gagamba

Ay laging masaya

Teoryang Maxismo. Ang marxismo ay isang teoryang pampanitikan na nagpapakita ng tunggalian ng mayaman at mahirap, mahina at malakas, makapangyarihan at api.

Sa tulang ito, ang mga gagamba ang mga mahihirap. Isang halimbawa ang mga magsasaka. Sila ang nagtatanim sa lupa o ang sanga pero dumating ang mga ulan o ang mayayaman na itinataboy sila sa lupang kanilang sinasakahan. Inaangkin ng mga ito ang lupang alam nilang dapat ay sa kanila. Ang pagsikat ng araw ay ang pagkakaroon ng pag-aalsa ng mga mahihirap laban sa mga mayayaman. Ang paglaban nila sa sa mga mayayaman ang nagbigay ng pag-asa at natuyo ang sanga o naibalik sa kanila ang lupang inangkin mula sa kanila. Sa dulo ay naging masaya ang mga gagamba.

We made our way from Pureza all the way to Intramuros. Our trip was full of laughter and jokes. We came as a class but disperse into group upon arriving. Our group wandered near the walls surrounding Intramuros. We liked to see the outer most part of the place.

We took pictures – posing every now and then, we even stopped at the middle of the road just to take a photo, and we also took a photo with a guard that is patrolling the place. Before going home we stopped at a  convenience  store to eat ice cream.

All in all the experience is very tiring yet enjoying. Adventurous without sense of direction only carrying their cameras and curiosity, that is us.

After that tiring day going home a delicious smell of mechado filled my nose. My dad cooked a very enticing meal that made my tummy rumbled in delight. My dad is a great cook and like preparing meals for us. The beef is cooked very well as it melt in my mouth and the sauce is very yummy.  I ate like a pig, craving for a home cooked meal after a day of eating outside. My acts were mirrored by my sister as well, as she drove her spoon into the bowl of mechado.

I conclude that a home-made meal is still the best that eating outside. The comfort it gave me and the love poured into the meal make it worth-while cooking.

A SELFISH move leading into a BLACKOUT

Recently the Meralco had a price increase in power charges, a Php 4.15 increase per kilowatt-hour (kWh), which causes a lot of violent reactions.

For me it was unfair, a four pesos increase will affect everyone greatly, especially for those who barely make ends meet.  What will they do if they can’t afford to pay for their electricity bills? Start living in the dark with a single candle that illuminates their whole house. That’s bull. They won’t think of the consequences that this will cause to the consumers and how they will suffer. They only think of themselves and how this step won’t lose them any money. That is completely selfish if you ask me.

If they want to complain about the generation charge blowing up then they should capture those people who are using electricity illegally or those who “jumper”. They should not ignore those then pass to the legal consumer the loss that they are experiencing, they should do an action and not just stand and watch then if they will lose some money they will just hand the expenses to the consumer to ensure their profit.

The TRO filed against this was a fair decision to stop their unreasonable price hike. I hope this TRO will help the heads of Meralco rethink their decision and maybe be reasonable enough to change it.
